Instructions to clear the cache

Taxpayers are asking how to file ITR on defunct portal. Most of the time the portal is showing login error. When people contact the Income Tax Department on the social media X platform, the authorities ask them to clear the cache on the computer.

Taxpayers including professionals across India are committed to paying taxes correctly to contribute to the country’s growth, but these technical issues are allegedly hampering the efforts of taxpayers.

Also need to share PAN and mobile number

People are also sharing the complaint of not being able to download AIS TIS and 26AS forms on X platform. Taxpayers with complaints are advised to share details like PAN and mobile number at orm@cpcp.incometax.gov.in. It has been informed that the authorities will contact those facing problems through this.

While filing income tax returns during office hours, the IT e-filing portal is often hanging. The month of July is crucial for taxpayers and CMs alike. These technical issues pose great difficulties.
